The
Chubbsafes Safe Deposit locker range is suitable for hotels, banks and
security business. No two Safe Deposit Locker installations are identical.
Each installation is treated individually and is carefully planned to meet
local requirements.
Today's international tourist and business traveller has come to expect a high level of security in all hotels and motels. Your Chubb consultant is available to offer an advisory service in the system design and location of lockers.
Each
locker is fitted with a duel control lock, with two keyholes. This ensures
that the custodian or senior person has to be present when any safe deposit
locker is accessed. One key is for the customer and the other for the
custodian. The custodians key must be inserted first and turned before the
customers key can be used. It is impossible for the customer to remove their
key without closing and locking the door.
When Lockers are supplied, it is recommended that additional spare locks are provided for and are keyed as extensions to the system.
A Locker Group may consist of an amalgamation of different Safe Deposit Box sizes. The number of boxes in each section is predetermined according to the size of each box. Details of the various locker configurations are available from Chubb. It must be emphasized that the standard size and section arrangements described this brochure are not arbitrary. Each locker installation can be designed to suit individual requirements. Naturally, the use of standard units achieves a distinct cost saving and promotes a better delivery time.
There are two modules, sizes 10 inch (254mm) and 8 inch (203mm). Within each module the locker groups are all the same width and depth so that a mix of sizes of groups can be stacked together.
All lockers are supplied with a lockable inner container. These are supplied with a hasp and staple to accept the renter's own padlock.
Within each group of lockers the numbers commonly start at the top left corner and run horizontally in rows to the bottom right corner. Other numbering systems can also be accommodated.
