LG Basic Electronic Lock

Chubb offer the LG Basic Digital lock as an option on any of their security safes. Digital locking is proving to be very popular in all business and domestic applications as they are user friendly and can have new combinations installed with ease by the original combination holder.

• Two Combinations - Manager and one user combination
• Manager Mode - Add / Temporarily Disable / Remove user.
• Audio / Visual Signal - Double signal indicates entry is valid or accepted. Triple signal indicates invalid or not accepted.
• Wrong Try Penalty - Four invalid combinations initiates five minute delay period.
• Low Battery Warning - Repeated audio signal (beeping) during operation indicates battery low.
• Retro-fit - Can be retro-fitted in place of most existing combination locks.

CHANGING COMBINATIONS
(Lock signals twice after each valid entry.)
Always have the safe door open when changing combinations.

Enter six zeros.
Enter existing combination once.
Enter new combination twice.

Invalid Combination Entry - Lock signals three times and old combination still valid.

Batteries: To change the battery of the LG Basic simply lift off the digital pad and replace the battery. Chubb Lock and Safe only recommend the use of Duracel batteries.
Older versions of this lock have a battery clip at the base of the pad with the battery slot up inside.

More sophisticated electronic locks are available offering features such as audit trails and opening print outs.

LG Safegard & Combogard

Chubb offer the LG Safegard Digital lock as an option on any of their security safe range. The Safegard model offers additional features from the LG Basic model and is more suited for commercial applications.

• (May be activated at any time, by authorized service only)
• Manager Mode - Add / Temporarily Disable / Remove second user.
• Dual Combination - Ability to add second combination to override Delay period
• Silent Signal Alarm (Optional Alarm Box Required)
• Duress Signal -  if last number of combination(s) entered one number higher or one number lower. Safe will still open.
• Remote Override Signal  - (Optional Alarm Box Required) Two combinations or remote signal plus primary user combination required to open.
• Time Delay - “Delay period 1 – 99 minutes, “Open” period 1 – 19 minutes.
• Wrong Try Penalty - Four invalid combinations initiates five minute delay period.
• Low Battery Warning - Repeated audio signal (beeping) during operation indicates battery low.

LG Smartgard

Chubb offer the Legard Smartgard as an option on any of their security safe range. This electronic digital lock offers all the features of the LG Safegard plus it has a built in lock and a full audit trail.

• 50 User Codes - Up to 50 users each identified by a code and individual combination
• Audit Trail - 500 event audit trail with opening times and user codes
• Time Lock / Time Delay - Time Delay from 1 – 99 minutes. Time Lock allowing standard weeks, special events and multiple opening windows.
• Dual Control - Available for both programming and lock opening.
• Tamper Resistant - Has programmable wrong try penalty.
• Hold-up Alarm
• Daylight saving -  time adjustments
