high security
commercial safe designed to protect
large amounts cash and valuables against
a forced entry attack .
The
Chubb TDR Safe was manufactured in two sizes between 1965 and 1975 at the
Chubb Porirua factory. These safes will also provide a degree of protection for paper records against fire.
Resists –
Oxy-acetylene, explosives, drilling and force.
Body: The overall thickness of the body is 102mm. Enclosed between the
heavy outer and inner steel body casing is the Chubb special torch and drill
resisting material. Chubb T.D.R. material offers great resistance to all forms
of oxygen cutting apparatus as well as explosives, drills, and cutting tools.
Door: The overall thickness of the door is 136mm. Rectangular in form,
it is constructed from outer and inner plates of steel enclosing a solid core
of Chubb T.D.R. material to provide a door of great strength.
Locking: The locking mechanism is secured by a four code keyless
combination lock, capable of 100,000,000 differs. Instructions for the
combination are supplied with each lock.
Automatic Relocking Device: An emergency relocking device is
incorporated in the locking mechanism to provide additional resistance.
Fittings: Standard with shelves, optional Cupboard/Drawers
Boltwork: The door is secured by heavy 32mm diameter steel bolts all
fully protected by the armour of the body when the door is closed.
