The
Chubb Renown is a medium range safe which provides protection against
determined attacks using explosives, drills or force. Protection to the
locking mechanism against oxy-acetylene and drill attacks is provided.
The Chubb Renown Safe was manufactured in two sizes at the old Chubb factory
in Porirua, New Zealand.
These safes will also provide a degree of protection for paper records against fire.
Resists –
Oxy-acetylene, explosives, drilling and force.
Body: The safe body obtains its strength from a one piece monolith of
Chubb barrier cube.
With cohesion achieved between the safe door and body the result is in effect
a jointless cube.
Door: Rectangular in form, it is constructed from outer and inner
plates of steel enclosing a solid, fully protected slab of Chubb barrier
material.
Locking: The locking mechanism is secured by a three wheel keyless
combination lock, capable of 1,000,000 differs. Instructions for the
combination are supplied with each lock.
Automatic Relocking Device: An emergency relocking device is
incorporated in the locking mechanism to provide additional resistance.
Fittings: Standard with shelves, optional Cupboard/Drawers
