The Chubb Reliant Safe

Refurbished - High Security Commercial

The Chubb Reliant is designed to meet the needs of major commercial businesses. Suitable for a jeweler, supermarket, large retailers or hotels the Reliant has the capability of securing large sums of money or items of a highly negotiable nature.
The Reliant is designed to confront the burglar with so many barriers that time will run out before they can effect entry.
The Reliant resists oxy-acetylene plasma-arc, high speed drills and explosives.
The Reliant was usually fitted with either one or two 4 wheel combination locks.
The Reliant was manufactured at the Chubb Porirua factory in six sizes.

Advanced manufacturing techniques have enabled Chubb engineers to produce a safe body in a single cast un it of consistent strength. Added to this is the Chubb revolutionary design of locking mechanism which not only provides highly sophisticated drill protection but incorporates advanced techniques for protection against explosive attack.

The Chubb Reliant Safe is a real safe in every sense of the word.

Resists –
Oxy-acetylene, Oxy-arc, power cutting, explosives, high speed drilling and force.

Construction:
Door: The door obtains its strength from an enclosed, fully protected slab of Chubb barrier material. Cylindrical sliding bolts extend from all four sides of the door and engage into bolt holes formed in the safe body to ensure complete solidarity between body and door.
Four way boltwork is an important feature in the resisting of an explosives attack.
Jointless Body: The safe body obtains its strength from a one piece monolith of Chubb barrier material. With the cohesion achieved between the safe door and body the result is in effect a jointless cube.
Locking: The standard locking system for all Treasury Safes is two
keyless combination locks.
Alternatively a keylock can be substituted for one of the combination
locks.
Automatic Relocking Devices: Emergency Relocking Devices are an
important component of the locking mechanism. Upon locking the safe these devices are automatically on guard, providing an additional security feature against all known forms of attack.

Smaller sizes were manufactured in low volumes and do not come up for resale often.
