The
Chubb Nugget safe is a small, medium security safe.
These safes generally have a combination lock and a single shelf fitted.
Resists –
Oxy-acetylene, explosives, high speed drills and force.
Door:
The door obtains its strength from an enclosed, fully protected slab of Chubb
barrier material.
Cylindrical sliding bolts extend from all four sides of the door and engage
into bolt holes formed in the safe body to ensure complete solidarity between
body and door.
Four-way boltwork is an important feature in the resisting of an explosives
attack.
Jointless Body:
The safe body obtains its strength from a one piece monolith of Chubb barrier
material. With cohesion achieved between the safe
door and body the result is in effect a jointless cube.
Locking:
The standard locking system for the Nugget safe is one Three Wheel Keyless
Combination Lock.
Automatic Relocking Devices:
Emergency Relocking Devices are an important component of the locking
mechanism.
Boltdown Facility:
The Nugget safe is provided with a boltdown facility enabling it to be secured
to a suitable floor.
