A light
safe designed to protect limited amounts of cash and valuables against attack.
Will also provide a degree of protection for paper records against fire.
Two models were produced between 1967 - 1976.
Resists –
Oxy-acetylene, explosives, drilling and force.
Body: The overall thickness of the body is 82mm, Solid fire
resisting material is enclosed between the outer and inner steel body casing.
Door: The door is 95mm thick with hardened plate protecting all vital parts of
the locking mechanism and boltwork. The door is designed to resist forcing
tools, and incorporates a fire resisting chamber.
Boltwork: The door is secured by three heavy 25mm diameter steel bolts
on the front edge and a fixed bar which fits behind a full length rebate on
the hinge side.
Locking: The locking mechanism is secured by a three code keyless
combination lock, capable of 1,000,000 differs- Instructions for operating a
combination lock, and changing the combination are supplied with each lock.
Automatic Relocking Device:
An emergency relocking device is incorporated in the locking mechanism to
provide additional resistance should the lock be dislodged during an attack.
