Chubb
Record Protection Cabinets were manufactured in two sizes and designed for
large volumes of paper documents.
Large single door Record Protection Cabinets are available for protecting paper documents such as asset folders, share registers, sales ledgers, personnel records and varying forms of technical data.

Regardless of the heat during an inferno, Chubb
fire resisting cabinets
are designed to keep internal temperatures below the
burning point of paper — 177°C (350°F). If that's not enough, these cabinets are
specially built to withstand the shock of a fall on
to rubble — a very real possibility in a burning
building. What's more, these cabinets have thoroughly proved their worth
by surviving some of New Zealand's
largest commercial fires.
The construction:
To minimise heat conduction, the cabinet has an
inner and outer casing of the thinnest steel consistent with strength.
Sandwiched in between is 3 inches of Chubb certified
and proven fire resisting material, which is solid
and stable and will not deteriorate with age.
The whole unit is reinforced in vital places, enabling the cabinet to with-
stand the impact of a fall.
Its door is 51/2 inches thick, and shuts into a
tongue and groove closure that won't admit heat or flame.
